Nursing student receives research award
Senior nursing student, Kate Guffy presented her research poster, "Essential Leadership Concepts and Behaviors Baccalaureate Nursing Students Need", at the annual Midwestern Nursing Research Society (MNRS) conference held March 26-30, 2014 in St Louis, Missouri. Her poster was awarded one of only four baccalaureate awards, an honorable mention.
Kate collaborated with a fellow student, Sara Peterson, and Dr. Charlotte Sortedahl.
The Society promotes and disseminates nursing research and encourages, supports, and connects the next generation of nurse scientists. MNRS has more than 1,300 members and is one of the largest and most influential nursing research organizations in the country.
