Global understanding and partnerships in China
Moving UW-Eau Claire Nursing Toward Global Understanding and Partnerships in China
Tuesday, November 12, 2013
5:00 PM - 6:00 PM
Nursing Building, Room 119A
Two students from UW-Eau Claire's doctor of nursing practice program will present "Moving UW-Eau Claire Nursing Toward Global Understanding and Partnerships in China" from 5-6 p.m. Nov. 12 in Room 119A of the Nursing Building.
Cassidy Phillips and Jessica Witt traveled to several universities and health care agencies in China in March 2013. The purpose of the experience was to better understand the Chinese health care system and the role of advance practice nurses in China, as well as how these understandings could influence global partnerships.
"Our trip provided significant cross-cultural sharing of knowledge and was an invaluable learning opportunity," Phillips said.
