Department of Nursing
Our nationally recognized nursing program graduates more than 140 BSN students each year. Nearly 100 percent of our graduates have jobs or are continuing their education within a year of graduation.
The nursing baccalaureate and master’s programs are accredited for the maximum time by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE), One Dupont Circle, NW, Suite 530, Washington, DC 20036, (202) 887-6791, through December 31, 2021. The Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) program is accredited by CCNE through December 31, 2016, which reflects the five year maximum time for new program accreditation.
Clinical experiences begin in a spacious,
well-equipped and technologically advanced
skill lab/clinical simulation area. High fidelty
simulators are available and include Laerdal
SimMen, Nursing Annes, SimBaby and Noelle
Cultural Diversity Immersion Clinicals
We offer opportunities to learn about nursing
care and cultures through hands-on clinical
experiences in places like Harlaxton, England;
Costa Rica; Rosebud, South Dakota; and more.
