Why did you decide to come to UW-Eau Claire for college?
I transferred to UW-Eau Claire from another university that just wasn't the right fit for me. UW-Eau Claire was a perfect fit because it has a great business school.
Why did you pick the major you selected?
I chose human resource management because of my previous work experience. Once I started taking more business classes, it reaffirmed my decision. The professors in the College of Business do more than teach; they give you real life examples that help you apply the information you read about in your textbooks.
What does success mean to you? How has UW-Eau Claire College of Business prepared you for success?
Success to me means being happy with what you are doing—whether at work or in your personal life. If you are happy, everything else will fall into place. The College of Business has helped me prepare for success by giving me the tools I need. This includes an amazing advisor, great professors, and interesting classes.
In your opinion, what role did/does CADE play in helping you achieve personal, academic and/or career success?
CADE has helped me achieve success in every aspect of my life. Before CADE I felt lost and I was unsure if the classes I was taking would lead towards graduation. My CADE advisor wants me to succeed, and she is willing to do anything she can to help me. She motivates me to do well personally and professionally.
