Why did you decide to come to UW-Eau Claire for college?

I decided to come to Eau Claire for the atmosphere that I felt. I had looked at a few other colleges, but none of them felt as inviting as Eau Claire.

Why did you pick the major you selected?

I always liked computers, but I wanted a well-rounded approach that emphasized their human uses. The IS program gives me the flexibility to create the college education that I want.

What does success mean to you? How has UW-Eau Claire College of Business prepared you for success?

Success to me means having a loving family, a nice house, and a career that supports both of these.  Being in the College of Business here at Eau Claire has prepared me for this success by allowing me to experience what my career would entail by offering me plenty of opportunities to experience what it would be like to be a member of my career choice.

What tips and/or words of advice do you have for high school students coming to Eau Claire? 

Don't worry about what other people think, just be yourself and work towards your goals. The professors and other staff members are always willing to help you on your journey.

Other thoughts?

If you can't decide on a major right away, don't worry about it. Take a few courses in a path that sound interesting, and see where it leads.
