Internships
We encourage all College of Business students to participate in at least one internship before they graduate from UW-Eau Claire.
As an intern, you will work in an area related to your field of study and interest. You will learn more about your chosen profession, meet new people, and gain confidence. Completing an internship may also aid your job search as most companies use an internship as an opportunity to pre-screen prospective employees.
Most business internships are paid experiences lasting three to eight months. You may take an internship for academic credit (department chair consent is required) or as a non-credit activity. Health Care Administration majors participate in a required year-long, paid practicum during their senior year.
International internship opportunities also exist. College of Business students have completed internships in Great Britain, India, Germany, and China.
