About Us

The Center for Sales and Sales Management in the Department of Management and Marketing gives students the preparation they need to be successful sales professionals and sales managers.

Our sales and sales management program is known for its curriculum which develops students’ analytic and communication skills as well as their knowledge of marketing and sales. Courses are taught by faculty with real-world sales experience and proven records of success in the field. Students take classes in the Center for Sales and Sales Management, which includes a classroom and breakout rooms with cameras for recording role plays.

Students can enhance their resumes through participation in high impact learning experiences, such as community service projects, internships, sales competitions, and student organizations with a sales and marketing focus such as PSE, AMA and DECA.

The Center hosts the Blugold Sales Challenge, a local competition, and The Great Northwoods Sales Warm-Up, a national sales competition. They also sponsor the UW-Eau Claire Sales Team who compete at sales competitions around the United States.

The Center and its activities are supported by the Department of Management and Marketing, gifts from friends and corporate sponsors, and grants from UW-Eau Claire Blugold Commitment funds. » Learn how to support the center.

The UW-Eau Claire Center for Sales and Sales Management annually appears on the Sales Education Foundation list of Top University Sales Programs. We are an associate member of the University Sales Center Alliance, a consortium of sales centers located in universities throughout the United States. We were the first sales program in Wisconsin to achieve both distinctions.
