Pratt to receive IACIS Ben Bauman Award for Excellence

Jean A. PrattDr. Jean Pratt, an associate professor of information systems at the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire, is the recipient of the 2014 International Association for Computer Information Systems Ben Bauman Award for Excellence. She will be presented with the award at the association's international conference in Las Vegas, NV on October 3, 2014.

The IACIS Ben Bauman Award for Excellence recognizes a faculty member who has compiled an outstanding record of professional service, teaching, and scholarship, and has made significant contributions to their university and their profession. In the nomination letter for this award, Pratt is described as "someone who has worked diligently to deliver quality educational experiences for her students, continually produces significant scholarship and publications, and has made a commitment to advancing her profession through her participation in professional organizations and conferences."
