UW-Eau Claire senior ROTC cadets to receive commissions
The cadets and cadre of the Northwoods Battalion of the Reserve Officers' Training Corp (ROTC) will hold a winter commissioning ceremony, Friday, December 20 at 6 pm in the UW-Eau Claire L. E. Philips Recital Hall.
Three UW-Eau Claire students, who have successfully completed the requirements for their academic degree programs and the ROTC program, will be commissioned as a Second Lieutenant. Congratulations to the following students:
- Isaiah Eaton, a chemistry major from Hartford, WI, will join the 479th Chemical Battalion of the U.S. Army Reserve as a chemical officer. He will be stationed at Fort Totten, NY.
- Joshua Sprunk, a criminal justice major from Fall Creek, WI, will join A Company, FSC 724th Engineer Battalion as a transportation officer in the Wisconsin National Guard. He will be stationed at Hayward, WI.
- Daniel Lavoy, an athletic training major from Colfax, WI, will join the 409th Medical Company as a medical services officer in the U.S. Army Reserve. He will be stationed at Madison, WI.
LTC K. Dave Pindell Jr., chair of the Department of Military Science and commander of the Northwoods Battalion of the Army ROTC, will conduct the ceremony.
