Sales class raise money for area nonprofit

UW-Eau Claire students in the spring 2012 advanced sales class used their sales skills to raise $33,000 in entry fees and prize donations for the 23rd annual L. E. Phillips Career Development Center (CDC) golf outing. Students raised the money as their semester project. Members of the class attended the August 3rd event at the Mill Run Golf Course in Eau Claire with their course instructor Jerry Kollross and sales management professor Bob Erffmeyer.

The CDC provides meaningful vocational and employment opportunities to individuals who are disabled or disadvantaged.
