UW-Eau Claire AMA to hold 30th Annual Fun Run

30 Years StrongThe University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire American Marketing Association (AMA) will hold its 30th Annual Fun Run 5k Race, Saturday, April 21, 2012 at Carson Park in Eau Claire, WI. The event is open to all students, faculty, staff, and the community.

Participants are invited to walk, run or blade the 5k race course. Rollerbladers will begin the course at 9:30 am. Runners and walkers will start 30 minutes later at 10 am.

Music will be provided after the race by Mr. Tall Pants and the Shorts. Attendees have the opportunity to win prizes donated by local businesses. Food and beverages will be served all day long.

Prices are as follows: Individual post-race celebration only: $15; Individual – race only: $16; Individual – race and post-race celebration: $22; and Team race and post-race celebration: $27. Participants are encouraged to register online at Day-of-registration also will be available at the Oak Pavilion starting at 8 am.

All proceeds will go toward Special Olympics-Wisconsin. AMA hopes to donate a total of $2,000 to Special Olympics this year.
