PSE heads to national conference
Fourteen members of the UW-Eau Claire chapter of Pi Sigma Epsilon (PSE), the national fraternity for men and women interested in sales, marketing and management, will be attending the 2012 PSE National Convention, March 13-17 in Indianapolis, IN. Approximately 500 PSE student and professional members from around the country will attend the five day event that includes presentations and workshops, competitions and a career fair.
One of the premier events of the conference is the National Pro-Am Sell-a-Thon held March 16th. Competing in the sales competition is UW-Eau Claire student Kellen Busey who placed first at the Midwest PSE Pro-Am Sell-a-Thon in November. In addition to Busey, other UW-Eau Claire students competing in the event are Breanna Begin, James Conrad Bergeron II, Jordan Burnett, Drew Christensen, Paul Coates, Alexandra Flores, Lauren Gault, Ryan Gilmore, Justin Held, Lindsey Janz, Jessica Parish, and Alex Roland.
The UW-Eau Claire PSE chapter will compete in a case study competition and a recruitment competition.
