UW-Eau Claire business faculty to participate in MBAA International Conference, Liu to receive distinguished paper award
The Midwest Business Administration Association (MBAA) will hold its 48th Annual International Conference at The Drake Hotel in Chicago, March 28-30, 2012.
Dr. Ling Liu, University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire Department of Accounting and Finance, is the recipient of the North American Accounting Society’s 2012 MBAA International McGraw-Hill/Irwin Distinguished Paper Award for her paper, “Analyst Firm Coverage and Forecast Accuracy: The Effect of Regulation Fair Disclosure.”
MBAA consists of eleven formal organizations with over 700 active members. These organizations represent a variety of disciplines, including accounting; case research; economics; finance, real estate, insurance and risk management; health administration; human resources and industrial relations; information systems and quantitative methods; international business; legal studies; management; marketing; and operations management and entrepreneurship.
