College of Business students received scholarships to study abroad spring semester
Scholarships were awarded to 39 University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire students for international travel during the spring 2012 semester. Four for the recipients were College of Business students. These students are as follows:

Michael Benson, a sophomore health care administration major from Lancaster, WI, received an International Education Study Abroad Grant. He is studying in Ireland.

Danielle Rae Martin, a junior management major from Marshfield, WI, received a Viennese Ball Scholarship. She is studying in Costa Rica.

Amelia Rose Roemer, a sophomore accounting major from Evansville, WI, a Viennese Ball Scholarship. She is studying in South Africa.

Carrie Anne Vorphal, a senior accounting major from Eau Claire, WI, the Scott Vander Saden International Study scholarship. She is studying in France.
The UW-Eau Claire Foundation awards study abroad scholarships each semester ranging from $250-$1,000. Applicants must be degree-seeking UW-Eau Claire students who have been accepted into the study abroad program. Recipients are chosen by a faculty and staff committee.
