UW-Eau Claire marketing analytics majors are recipients of new scholarship
University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire marketing analytics students Carly Zubell, a senior from Cottage Grove, MN and Rylee Inks, a junior from Fond du Lac, WI are the recipients of the first UW-Eau Claire Target Marketing Analytics Enrichment scholarships. Each student will receive $500.
Target Marketing Analytics Enrichment scholarships are funded by a $2,000 grant by the Target Corporation to the UW-Eau Claire Foundation.
Scholarship applicants must be UW-Eau Claire marketing majors with a declared emphasis in marketing analytics who have a minimum grade point average of 3.0. Two scholarships will be awarded each semester—one to a senior and one to a junior. Sophomores are eligible to apply as long as they will have completed at least 60 credits prior to the start of the semester they will be receiving the scholarship.
Applicants must electronically submit a 200-word essay addressing why they are excited about studying marketing analytics and what they plan on doing with the degree after graduation. They must also submit an electronic resume and an unofficial campus transcript. All application materials must be submitted to Dr. Joe Bonner, associate professor, Department of Management and Marketing. Scholarship recipients are selected by the UW-Eau Claire Department of Management and Marketing scholarship committee based on their academic achievement, and interest and involvement in marketing analytics.
Applications will be accepted for two the fall 2012 semester Target scholarships from March 26-April 6, 2012, according to Dr. Chuck Tomkovick, professor of marketing and marketing coordinator, UW-Eau Claire Department of Management and Marketing.
