College of Business to receive Silver, Bronze Awards at CASE V Conference

pride_of_caseUniversity of Wisconsin-Eau Claire College of Business (COB) marketing and communications staff members will receive three 2012 Council for Advancement and Support of Education (CASE), Great Lakes District V awards.

Gretchen Hutterli, COB assistant dean, and Bonnie Krahn, COB graphic artist, will receive silver and bronze awards for the college’s Success Starts Here undergraduate marketing materials. Krahn and Dr. D’Arcy Becker, professor of accounting and chair of the Department of Accounting and Finance, will receive a silver award for the Financial Literacy Improvement Program logo.

The UW-Eau Claire College of Business is one of 66 educational institutions to receive a 2012 Pride of CASE V award. A total of 125 awards will be presented to CASE V members at the 2012 CASE V conference held December 9-11 in Chicago, Ill.

CASE District V includes 378 member institutions in Wisconsin, Minnesota, Michigan, Illinois, Indiana and Ohio. The CASE V district award competition honored advancement and communications professionals in 45 categories. Judging for the competition is conducted by advancement professionals outside of the Great Lakes district.

Headquartered in Washington, D.C., CASE is the professional organization for advancement professionals at all levels who work in alumni relations, communications and development.
