
Information Systems Department Awards 2011-12 Scholarships
The University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire Department of Information Systems Scholarship Committee is pleased to award the following scholarships for the 2011-12 academic year.
- 3M Scholarship: Beatris Mendez Gandica, IS, business analysis student from Madrid, Spain; Pia Lor, IS, systems development and accounting double major from Wausau, WI. $500 each.
- Cargill: Sarah Munson, IS, business analysis and accounting double major from New Richmond, WI. $300.
- Federated Insurance Scholarship: Jacob Koerner, IS, business analysis student from Beaver Dam, WI. $1,000.
- Germonprez Family IS Scholarship: Beatris Mendez Gandica, $1,500; Kristi Basa, IS, business analysis student from Savage, MN. $1,500.
- IS Department Scholarship: Jared Caspers, IS, business analysis major from New Hope, MN. $500.
- Willard and Carol Korn Scholarship: Jacob Koerner, IS, business analysis student from Beaver Dam, WI. $300.
- St Paul Travelers Scholarship: Heidi Bartling, IS, business analysis student from Middleton, WI, $1,000; Jakob Broesch, IS, business analysis student from Merrill, WI, $1,500; John Cusick, IS, business analysis student from Shell Lake, WI, $1,000; Laura Spelbrink, IS business analysis major from Eagan, MN, $1,500.
The following students have been awarded a laptop computer: Jakob Broesch and Pia Lor.
Scholarships are funded by gifts made through the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire Foundation. The student laptop computers were funded by UW-Eau Claire alumni Rick Schroder and Evelyn Zabo through a gift made to the Foundation.
Donors and scholarship and laptop recipients will be recognized at the College of Business Scholarship Luncheon, Friday, December 2, 2011 from 12:00-1:30 pm in the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire Davies Center Tamarack Room.
