AMA to host 29th Annual Fun Run to Benefit Special Olympics
The University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire student chapter of the American Marketing Association (AMA) will sponsor the 29th Annual Fun Run event, Saturday, April 30, 2011. The annual 5K race and other activities will be held in the Carson Park Oak Pavilion in Eau Claire, WI. Students, faculty and staff and community members are invited to run, walk, or rollerblade the course. The event will also feature competitions and door prizes, and music by country band Big Back Yard. Food, beverages, and fun will be served throughout the day.
Ticket prices vary from $16 (just the race) to $22 (race and post party). AMA sponsors the 5K race to raise money for the Special Olympics. Over the past two years, the Eau Claire chapter, with the help of local sponsors, has donated $6,000 to the Indianhead Area Special Olympics.
