Internship Mania Connects Employers, Students
The University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire will offer employers an opportunity to meet with hundreds of qualified candidates for internships and full-time opportunities during Internship Mania, UW-Eau Claire’s major spring recruiting event. The event will be held from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 9 in the Davies Center Council Fire Room.
“Internship Mania gives employers a chance to network and recruit talented individuals for their organization,” stated Jessica Gardner, Career Services Career and Employment Manager.
The event, hosted by UW-Eau Claire Career Services, allows employers the opportunity to promote their organizations and find highly qualified students from many different academic disciplines. Last year, nearly seventy employers attended the event.
“I enjoy the UW-Eau Claire internship fair because students are always professional. They know about my organization before they approach and have a strong educational background,” stated one employer who attended the 2010 Internship Mania.
Employers interested in reserving a booth must register through Blugold CareerLink by January 21 in order to be included in the Internship Mania booklet. Space is limited, so please be sure to register early.
