Krautkramer named December 2011 Outstanding Marketing Student
The University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire College of Business marketing faculty hosted the December 2011 marketing graduates at a dinner held in their honor, Wednesday, December 11, 2011. The event was held at the home of Dr. Joe Bonner.
Ashley Krautkramer, a marketing student from Marathon, WI, was named the December 2011 Outstanding Marketing Student. Learn more about Krautkramer below.
Other students nominated by the marketing faculty for the award and recognized at the event for their scholarship, leadership, and community service were:

- Kyle Hagan, a marketing, professional sales major from Verona, WI
- Danielle R. Herdegen, a marketing major from Savage, MN

Meet Ashley Krautkramer
Ashley Krautkramer was the executive vice president of Collegiate DECA, and advertising manager for The Spectator, the university’s newspaper, where she managed a staff of six students, met weekly sales goals, and worked with clients on ads.
In January 2011, Krautkramer participated in a study abroad experience in China which “broadened (her) understanding of the world and fired a desire to continue traveling and studying other cultures.” That experience helped her secure a marketing internship with the International Division of Hormel Foods where she worked with domestic and international creative agencies to develop promotional materials for sales teams in Canada and Hong Kong.
Krautkramer will graduate summa cum laude. She has accepted a sales position with Hormel Foods and will be relocating to the Atlanta, GA area.
