UW-Eau Claire student wins Midwest PSE Pro-Am Sell-a-Thon
Eight University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire marketing students attended the 2011 PSE Midwest Regional Conference which was held November 10-13, 2011 in Milwaukee, WI. The conference, which was attended by students from 15 universities, was hosted by Alverno College.
Attending the event from UW-Eau Claire were Jordan Burnett, Kellen Busey, Paul Coates, Alexandra Flores, Lauren Gault, Ryan Gillmore, Justin Held, and Jessi Parrish.
Students at the Midwest Regional Conference attended business development seminars, networked with professionals and collegiate members, and participated in competitions, such as the PSE Pro-Am Sell-a-Thon, a year-long sales competition held at the five fall regional conferences and the annual PSE convention.
Forty-six students competed in this year’s Midwest PSE Pro-Am Sell-a-Thon. Four of the top ten finalists were from UW-Eau Claire, including Kellen Busey, who placed first place in the event. She has earned the right to compete in the National PSE Pro-Am Sell-a-Thon, which will be held March 16, 2012 in Indianapolis, Indiana. Other UW-Eau Claire finalists included Paul Coates, Alexandra Flores, and Jessi Parrish.
