Hey prospective Blugold business student!
Welcome to the UW-Eau Claire College of Business. We looking forward to meeting you at one of university’s 2011 Admission Preview Days. While you are on campus, be sure to participate in one or more events specifically developed for prospective business students like you.
Here are some suggestions...
Visit a class. Experience what it is like to take a college class by attending a business class in Schneider 100, our large lecture hall, or in a small classroom that seats 35-40 students, our most common classroom size. Because space in our smaller classrooms is limited and available to visitors on a first come, first serve basis, we recommend that you arrive at least five minutes before class. Once seated, we ask that you stay for the entire class period.
Attend the Majors & Student Services Fair. Drop by the College of Business tables during the Majors & Student Services Fair on Thursday, October 20th and 27th. This event is the perfect place to meet business faculty members and academic advisers from CADE, the college’s new advising center. Learn how the college prepares students for success through its AACSB accredited academic programs, internships, study abroad experiences, and other experiential learning opportunities. Don’t forget to register for the iPad drawing.
Tour the college with a dean. No campus visit is ever complete without a tour. Join Associate Dean Bob Sutton, Assistant Dean Gretchen Hutterli and others on a tour of some of the college’s special classrooms and learning spaces.
