Information Systems Department Awards 2010-11 Scholarships
The University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire Department of Information Systems Scholarship Committee is pleased to award the following scholarships for the 2010-11 academic year:
- 3M Scholarship: Michael Klotz, an IS-systems development student from St. Cloud, MN, $400; Lucas Komiskey, an IS-business analysis major from Tomah, WI, $400.
- Cargill: Thang Minh Nguyen, an IS-systems develop and accounting double major from Danang, Viet Nam, $300
- Federated Insurance Scholarship: Louis Wedge, an IS-business analysis student from Chetek, WI, $1,000;
- Germonprez Family IS Scholarship: Kristi Basa, an IS-business analysis student from Savage, MN, $1,000; Summer Hill, an IS-systems development and accounting double major from Seymour, WI, $2,000
- IS Department Scholarship: Ryan Lichtenwald, an IS-systems development student from Kettle Moraine, WI, $500
- Travelers Scholarship: Heidi Bartling, an IS-business analysis student from Middleton, WI, $2,000; Michael Klotz, an IS-systems development student from St. Cloud, MN, $1,000; Lucas Komiskey, an IS-business analysis major from Tomah, WI, $2,000.
The following students have been awarded a laptop computer: Garrett Bahr, an IS-business analysis student from Coon Valley, WI; Anthony Ludwig, an IS-business analysis student from Altoona, WI; Joel Schroeder, an IS-systems development student from Downing, WI.
Scholarships are funded through gifts made through the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire Foundation. The student laptop computers were funded by UW-Eau Claire alumni Rick Schroder and Evelyn Zabo through a gift made to the Foundation.
Donors and scholarship and laptop recipients will be recognized at the College of Business Scholarship Luncheon, Friday, December 3, 2010 from 12:00-1:30 pm in the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire Davies Center Tamarack Room.
