PSE Students Compete in Regional Sales Competition at Northern Illinois University
By Nick Levin, Marketing/Professional Sales Major
On November 6, 2010, UW-Eau Claire students Nick Levin, Max Van Ordstrand and Jessica Parish traveled to Debalk, Illinois for the Pi Sigma Epsilon (PSE) Regional Sales Competition at Northern Illinois University. They were among competitors from the University of Minnesota, University of Northern Iowa, the University of South Dakota and ten other schools.
In addition to competing at the sales competition, Nick Levin took first place at a Regional Public Speakers Competition. The speech topic focused on the importance of knowing foreign languages in order to survive in business, both domestically and internationally. Along with his awards, Nick now has the opportunity to emcee a keynote session at the 2011 PSE National Convention, which will be taking place in late March 2011.
