College of Business receives Gold, Bronze Awards at CASE V Conference
Gretchen Hutterli, Bonnie Krahn and Meredith Wolf, University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire College of Business marketing and development staff members, received a gold and a bronze award at the 2009 Council for Advancement and Support of Education Great Lakes District V conference, held Dec. 13-15 in Chicago.
The COB team was awarded a gold award for best practices in communications and marketing, and a bronze award for excellence in special events planning. Both awards recognized the team’s work on the UW-Eau Claire Great Northwoods Sales Warm-Up, a regional collegiate sales competition.
The 2009 Pride of Case District V competition yielded 426 entries in the areas of alumni relations, fundraising and development, communications and marketing, special events and diversity programming. Advancement professionals from outside CASE District V served as judges for the competition, volunteering their time and expertise in selecting the 134 award recipients.
Headquartered in Washington, D.C., CASE is the professional organization for advancement professionals at all levels who work in alumni relations, communications and development.
CASE District V includes more than 400 member institutions in Wisconsin, Minnesota, Michigan, Illinois, Indiana and Ohio.
