College of Business receives Gold, Bronze Awards at CASE V Conference

pride_of_caseGretchen Hutterli, Bonnie Krahn and Meredith Wolf, University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire College of Business marketing and development staff members, received a gold and a bronze award at the 2009 Council for Advancement and Support of Education Great Lakes District V conference, held Dec. 13-15 in Chicago.

The COB team was awarded a gold award for best practices in communications and marketing, and a bronze award for excellence in special events planning. Both awards recognized the team’s work on the UW-Eau Claire Great Northwoods Sales Warm-Up, a regional collegiate sales competition.

The 2009 Pride of Case District V competition yielded 426 entries in the areas of alumni relations, fundraising and development, communications and marketing, special events and diversity programming. Advancement professionals from outside CASE District V served as judges for the competition, volunteering their time and expertise in selecting the 134 award recipients.
