We Prepare You for Success
Success is a highly personal goal—we each have our own definition of what it is and how we can achieve it.
Our promise, “We prepare you for success” means the education you receive at UW-Eau Claire will serve you well now and throughout your lifetime, no matter what path your definition of success takes you. We will give you the academic knowledge you need to hit the ground running in your chosen field. It also means we will help you acquire important personal skills, such as the ability to present an idea clearly and concisely. Finally, it reflects our commitment to make available to you internships, international study opportunities, competitions, and other experiences that help you gain self-confidence while allowing you to apply and test what you have learned in the classroom.
This is our promise to you.
But you also have a role to play in your academic journey. Although we can give you the knowledge and the tools it takes to be successful, success is ultimately something you must define and achieve for yourself. I challenge you to do your best, to make the most of opportunities you are given, and to be open to new experiences, wherever they may take you.
