Championed the restructuring of the business school into a college (1994), combined accounting and finance into one department (1994), dissolved the business education and secretarial and administrative management programs to create the business communication department.

Led initiatives leading to AACSB International accreditation at both the undergraduate and graduate level for the first time (1997), which was reaffirmed in 2009.

Championed the addition of seven specialized undergraduate emphases, three new minors, five certificate programs, and an online MBA program.

Helped raise over $4 million in gifts and grants used to support technology, student scholarships, faculty and staff professional development, and the creation of 12 named classrooms, labs and learning spaces within Schneider Hall.

Established the Dennis L. Heyde Chair of Entrepreneurship, UW-Eau Claire’s first endowed chair (1997).

Led initiatives which resulted in the creation of the University of Wisconsin MBA Consortium (1996), and the college’s first distance learning programs (1998).

Championed the establishment of program and department business advisory boards in accounting and finance, information systems, international business programs, management, and marketing.

Championed credit and non-credit courses focusing on business etiquette and professional development, workplace diversity, leadership, oral and written communication, and teamwork.

Supported the infusion of information technology within the college, which resulted in the first college-wide website (1995), first college-wide Intranet for faculty and staff (2005) and Web 2.0 technologies (2009), Mason Companies CyberLab (2007), and a college-wide laptop requirement (2009).

Added Health Care Administration (2007) and ROTC to the college (2010).
