Priority registration periods are held three times a year for approximately one month: Fall Semester registration begins the first week of April, Spring Semester and Winterim registration begins the last week of October, and Summer Session and Interim registration begins early in February.
Prior to the start of registration you will receive an e-mail (sent to your UW-Eau Claire e-mail address) with registration materials from the MBA Office that includes:
Your priority registration date
A schedule highlighting MBA Foundation, module and elective courses to be offered
Once you receive this information, you will want to:
- Select your courses
» View courses offered on-campus
» View courses offered through the University of Wisconsin MBA Consortium
- Contact the MBA director to discuss your course schedule (optional, but required if you are enrolling in a dual-numbered course)
- Pay a minimum down payment of $100 to the UW-Eau Claire Cashier for each term for which you register. (For example, if you register for both Summer Session and Fall Semester, you will need to pay $200) Payment must be made at least 24 hours prior to registration as you will not be allowed to register until the payment has been applied to your account, Payments can be made electronically by clicking here, in person at the Business Office (Schofield 108), or by mail (UW-Eau Claire Business Office, PO Box 4004, Eau Claire, WI 54702-4004)
- Make sure you have your PIN (Personal Identification Number) if you plan to register online. Your PIN doesn’t change each registration period. If you don’t have a PIN or can’t remember it, contact the LTS help Desk. They will mail your PIN to you.
- Take care of any fee obligations from past semesters. You will not be allowed to register if you have outstanding tuition fees, library fines, parking tickets, etc.
Registering during your priority date helps you get the classes you need
Plan to register during your priority registration date to help ensure that you get the courses you want. This is especially true if you plan to take an MBA Program prerequisite course for undergraduate credit or dual-numbered courses as graduate students register before undergraduate students.
