Investing in the Future
Since 2000, the Center for Health Administration and Aging Services Excellence (CHAASE) has provided guidance and support to the UW-Eau Claire Health Care Administration (HCAD) program. In turn, this has helped ensure the availability of capable leaders for the health and aging services field. Over the past five years, CHAASE has generated more than $500,000 in private support for the health care administration program at UW-Eau Claire. These funds have provided scholarships, supported outreach and connected students with professionals in the Midwest.
This investment has produced results. Over the past four years, the HCAD program has increased enrollment by over 200 percent and CHAASE has met or exceeded its strategic goals.
But we still need your help.
The U.S. health care system is faced with the challenge of expanding health care services to serve an aging population. By the year 2030, the population of Americans age 65 and older is expected to double; more than 70 million seniors will make up a full 20 percent of America’s population; and the group with the highest care needs is expected to grow by 9.6 million.
Despite the growth in need, the number of professionals entering the health and aging services profession is declining most everywhere except at UW-Eau Claire. Because of its demonstrated record of success, your gift to CHAASE is an investment that will continue to have impact well into the future.
Give to CHAASE
The need for private investment in health care administration has never been greater with declining state support. Gifts and grants from individuals and organizations are needed to build upon CHAASE's well-established foundation and better position the HCAD program for the next 10 years. Gifts will be used to support people, programs and places that will enhance our Center and program goals. Contributions can be made to CHAASE through the UW-Eau Claire Foundation. Thank you for your support.
