In order to apply for this scholarship, the applicant must meet all of the following eligibility criteria:
- Be a continuing Spectator staff member who has demonstrated excellence in photography or graphics design
- Have made major contributions to the visual success of The Spectator
- The recipient of this award is expected to apply and continue on The Spectator staff in the fall
This award honors Wil Pautz, who became a faculty member at Eau Claire State Teachers College in 1963 and remained on the faculty until 1994. He received the first established UW-Eau Claire Outstanding Teacher Award and was active in study abroad programs.
