STUDENT COMMENTS
It was really fun and interesting, especially to see life in a different perspective. The people all were very friendly, and I always felt welcome in the country, classroom and in our dorm. I don’t think I struggled at all to become involved in the beginning, and I didn’t want to leave. -Nicole R.

Studying abroad in England has caused me to grow as a person more than any other thing I’ve experienced in college. Going to England challenged me to more independent, more resourceful, and more confident. And the English are some of the nicest people! –Erin K.

I had the time of my life while studying in England. I met some amazing people and had some terrific opportunities that I could never have gotten if I stayed at UWEC for my entire degree. Taking classes at a British university was very beneficial to my education because I studied subjects that I couldn’t get at home, and I also got to experience a different school system. Aside from my classes, living in a different culture, traveling opportunities, and learning more about myself, others, and the world made up my study abroad experience. -Maria N.

The experience was great, because this is not an island program; we are really integrated into the culture. Lancaster is a great city and the university is very nice, with a very diverse student population. There was always plenty to do either in town or on campus, and with such a wide range of clubs and societies anyone could find something they liked. – Carissa P.
