The Program

UW-Eau Claire is part of the ISEP-Direct network that gives our students access to many universities worldwide. The best way to think of an ISEP-Direct experience is to imagine that you are going to study in China just as international students come to study at UW-Eau Claire. THE LOCATION
Beijing (population 9.5 million) has been the capital of China for most of the last 700 years. It is not only the political center of China, but the cultural and intellectual center as well. Three thousand years of Chinese history can be explored within the city.

THE UNIVERSITY
Peking University, founded in 1898, is widely recognized as the best humanities and social sciences university in China. It enrolls 28,000 students, including 2,000 international students. Located in northwest Beijing, the large, walled campus includes several lakes and spectacular ancient and modern architecture.

HOUSING & MEALS
You'll live in double rooms in foreign student housing and have access to the Peking University Foreign Student Cafeteria.
