Welcome to the Study Abroad section of the UW-Eau Claire Center
for International Education. Our goal is to offer the best possible
study abroad programs at the lowest possible cost.
- Current UW-Eau Claire
students have opportunities in nearly 50 countries, so you can
choose a program that meets
your needs.
- For information
on choosing a program see
First Steps in Choosing a Study Abroad Program and Planning for Study Abroad Success.
- Credits earned on
a UW-Eau Claire program abroad are considered resident credit,
so all credits count towards graduation.
- Most
financial aid applies to the programs.
- Forty-five of
UW-Eau Claire's current programs have
no language
prerequisites.
UW-Eau Claire study abroad students take courses in English in
Bulgaria, China, Costa Rica, Czech Republic, Ghana, Japan, Latvia, Malta, Mexico,
the Netherlands, Nicaragua/Costa Rica, South Africa, South Korea,
Sweden and Thailand as well as in Australia, Canada, England,
Ireland, New Zealand and Scotland.
