UW-Eau Claire faculty members, in cooperation with the Center for International Education and Undergraduate Studies Immersion Experiences, continue to develop and lead study abroad programs in many different countries. We aim to keep expanding the variety and number of faculty-led programs available at UW-Eau Claire.
Current faculty-led programs include:
Globalization in China
Public History in England
Special Education in Scotland (SPED)
Women's Lives and Experiences in Nicaragua
If you are interested in developing a faculty-led study abroad program, contact Shanti Freitas, Intercultural Immersion Coordinator at firstname.lastname@example.org to learn more. You can also read through the Program Guidelines and Proposal Format. Visit the Resources page for information on leading programs abroad from leaders in the field of international education.
Made possible by a Blugold Commitment Grant funded for 2013-2016, the Faculty-Led International Immersion Experiences (FLIIE) Program encourages and supports faculty-led study abroad experiences for undergraduate UW-Eau Claire students by providing funding to decrease student costs and thus increase programmatic offerings and opportunities for student participation. Learn more about the FLIIE Program and how your faculty-led program can apply.
