- Academic Advising
All international students will be assigned a faculty advisor in the department of their major. Initial academic advising is offered through the Academic Advising Office and questions regarding course information or registration issues prior to arrival on campus can be directed to Rita Webb in Academic Advising at webbrl@uwec.edu
Immigration Advising
The Center for International Education has International Student Advisers on staff to answer any questions about immigration. You may need to make an appointment with an adviser to complete any paperwork necessary.
Cultural Programs
The Center for International Education offers cultural programming that students, staff, alumni, and community members can enjoy.
- Peer Guide
Current domestic and international students can meet new international students by becoming a Peer Guide at new student orientation. Peer Guides assist new international students adjust to life at UW - Eau Claire.
- International Student's Association
Any student can join the International Student's Association; one of the many intercultural clubs offered at UW-Eau Claire.
- Host Friend Program
The Host Friend Program offers a great opportunity for community members and international students to interact. After the short two to three day homestay with a new host student, host friends serve as a contact and a friend in the community to the student.
- International Folk Fair
The annual International Folk Fair celebrates culture! All are welcome to this free event.
