All international scholars are required to purchase health, evacuation, and repatriation insurance for the entire period of their program. Insurance is a requirement of the scholars' visa. Scholars are required to purchase insurance for each dependent who may accompany them to the United States.
Scholars must visit the Center for International Education (Schofield 3) and pay for insurance within one week of arrival to the United States. Scholars will not be registered with USCIS until insurance is paid in full.
