Joint celebration of the Chinese New Year, the year of the Dog, with the Eau Claire Families with Chinese Children (FCC) and the UWEC Chinese Student Association (CSA) at First Lutheran Church, Eau Claire. It was a grand event! Approximately 170 people joined in the celebration and the buffet dinner. Click link at right to see TV news report. |

Lunch-time Seminar on Chinese Paintings presented by Professor Bao Li-Ying at UWEC. Title of talk was "Can the simplicity of Chinese Folk Painting have a place in contemporary communications?" |

Closing Ceremony of the Chinese Language & Culture School at St John's Lutheran Church. Students demonstrated writing & speaking skills in Chinese, and also performed Chinese dances to delight the audience. |

Annual General Meeting (AGM) and May Social Event to farewell our visiting Chinese scholar and acknowledge member's contributions. This was held at the home of Dr. Simei Tung. |

Welcoming Social for new Chinese Faculties and Visiting Scholoars from China was held at the home of Bruce & Ruth Lo in the form of a pot-luck dinner. A short meeting to elect new CFSA officers and to approve the association constitution followed. |
