UW System Programs

Wisconsin Teaching Fellows & Scholars Program (OPID)
The Wisconsin Teaching Fellows and Scholars (WTFS) program is OPID's signature professional development program focusing intentionally on promoting the Scholarship of Teaching and Learning (SoTL).

The WTFS program targets and connects outstanding early-career and later-career teachers in the UW System. Each participant completes a year-long SoTL project with development and assistance from a community of scholarly teachers.



Faculty College


Faculty College is UW System's premier faculty and instructional development event. Faculty College hosts approximately 100 faculty and instructional academic staff from across the UW System for three days of intensive exploration of teaching, learning, and curricular issues.


OPID Regional Conference


The UW System CETL, called OPID or Office of Professional and Instructional Development, sponsors a conference for UW System faculty to present their Scholarship of Teaching and Learning (SoTL) research as either a workshop or a poster presentation. The goals for the conference include promoting interdisciplinary research, establishing connections between faculty from various campuses, and hearing from your system colleagues about their research.

 

The conference takes place each spring. The 2018 conference is scheduled for Thursday, April 12 & Friday, April 13 in Madison, WI.

UW-Eau Claire Program

CETL/ SoTL Grant Program
This grant supports educator/student collaborative research projects for the development and assessment of new curriculum (courses or other educational experiences).
