Communities of Practice

The Purposeful Educator:

Educators who are interested in using active learning techniques should register for this COP. This small group of educators will meet 6-8 times throughout the semester to discuss adopting new active learning techniques or enhancing techniques already in use.  Group members will share ideas, offer feedback, and report their results to the group for ongoing assessment.  For a definition and examples of active learning refer to this link from California State University.

Educators who participate in the meetings, complete a project, and submit a short report with the results of the project will receive a $250 stipend.
