"Teaching for Retaining Diverse Students"

The participants will each discuss one aspect of racial stereotype threat and tactics for dealing with it in the teaching/learning setting.
Panelists and their topics include:
Dr. Robert Gough, History - Advising
Dr. David Lonzarich, Biology – Tactics and impacts in the classroom
Dr. Marc Goulet, Dean of Students Office - Tactics and impacts in the classroom
Dr. Jeffrey Goodman, Psychology - Unconscious racism
Dr. Selika Ducksworth-Lawton, History - Tactics and impacts in the classroom
The panel will be moderated by Dr. Dwight C. Watson Associate Dean of Education.
