Learning Communities
Educator-Proposed Learning Community (LC)
What's a Learning Community?
A group of five or more educators who discuss a book, a series of articles or other media on a teaching and learning topic. CETL will provide logistical support, funding for the chosen materials and meeting refreshments upon request. The group commits to meeting three to six times during the semester. The facilitator is required to submit a final report to CETL summarizing the group activities, number of meetings, meeting attendance, and deliberations and conclusions. The facilitator receives a $200 stipend after the final report is submitted.
