The Center for Excellence in Teaching and Learning, located in Old Library 1142, creates professional development opportunities for UW-Eau Claire educators in all phases of their careers. CETL does this by providing programming, resources, and workspace. One of its goals is to build a collaborative community of UW-Eau Claire educators committed to educational excellence.
Educators, defined as anyone who teaches or directs students, are invited to participate in CETL's professional development opportunities. Another CETL goal is to open campus classrooms, studios and laboratories for observation, reflection and discussion. This leads to the understanding and use of best practices in teaching, learning, assessment, and technology.
