I began working at CETL in January 2013 as the new Writing Intern with an excited attitude and openness to learn. Having transferred to UWEC from a City College in California, I have finally experienced the extreme cold that I knew about only from movies and am proud to say I have finally acclimated, an event marked by a statement I made about twenty-eight degrees feeling warm. While I am still getting used to my ears freezing and having to wear what I call a snow jacket every day, I am excited at the opportunity to come to the Old Library and work at CETL.
I am an undergraduate English major with an emphasis in Creative Writing and while I spend most of my time in Hibbard, my Topical minor named Character Development has allowed me to venture out to the other academic buildings. I eventually hope to become a Novelist and write stories for a living while being able to do some traveling. When in Eau Claire I enjoy seeing movies at the Three Dollar Theater with friends, running the Putnam Trail, and reading a good book with a cup of hot coco.
