Credit Courses

Earn college credit while you're still in high school.

Who?

  • High school juniors and seniors

Credit Programs Available:

  • Youth Options - Distance Education: Courses are broadcast directly to your high school via regional distance learning networks.  Contact your principal or guidance counselor to find out if the program is offered in your district. 
  • Youth Options – Campus: Courses are offered on campus alongside UW-Eau Claire undergraduates.  Preview the University catalog and consult with Academic Advising and Admissions before applying.

Admissions Criteria:

  • Open Enrollment:  You must be a junior or senior ranking in the top 25% of your class OR ranking in the top 50% of your class with an ACT composite of 24 or greater (SAT V+M of 1110 or greater). 
  • Exception Enrollment: You must be a junior or senior ranking in the top 50% of your class who can provide substantial and convincing letters of recommendations and/or data demonstrating high ability in a specific area of University study.
