Youth Options for College Credits 


Earn college credit as a high school junior or senior.


 

Two Ways to Take a College Class:

  • Distance Learning
    Want to stay at your school to take your college class? We broadcast college classes to area high schools. Contact Julie Aminpour in Continuing Education at 715-836-4021 or email aminpojb@uwec.edu.

  • On Campus
    Want to come to campus to take your class? Sit alongside other college students in the classroom. Contact Nicole Wohlrab in Academic Advising at 715-836-3487 or email fossenk@uwec.edu.

Admissions Criteria:

  • Open Enrollment
    You must be a junior or senior ranking in the top 25% of your class OR ranking in the top 50% of your class with an ACT composite of 24 or greater (SAT V+M of 1110 or greater).

  • Exception Enrollment
    You must be a junior or senior ranking in the top 50% of your class who can provide substantial and convincing letters of recommendation and/or data demonstrating high ability in a specific area of University study.
