Are you new to social networking? Chances are you have heard of social media like Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn, but do you get it? Do you know what they are? How to use them? What to use them for? How to protect your privacy?
Join us for this workshop series to answer these questions and more as we delve into the culture and craze of social media.
Why You Should Attend
Do you feel intimidated with all the technology jargon like you are being left behind by family and friends? Are there people you just want to connect with? Parents and grandparents – do you know what the kids are doing? This is one way to keep up with their lives. These classes are designed for anyone who is uncomfortable or unfamiliar with social networking sites. Have no fear!
Come and let Laurie guide you through a whole new world of communication. Take one or more classes. All are taught by Laurie Boettcher, Speaker, Trainer and Social Media Enthusiast, and are held on the UW-Eau Claire campus from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.
