AHIT - American Home Inspectors Training Institute
Considering a second career? Want to start a side job? American Home Inspectors Training Institute (AHIT) provides online training for those interested in becoming home inspectors, solar panel technicians, locksmiths or energy auditors.
 
American Folk Music: The Origins of Folk Rock
Want to know more about influential folk music of the 1960s? Learn about great folk artists who left an unforgettable mark upon American popular music – Pete Seeger, Woody Guthrie, Joan Baez, Bob Dylan and more. Taught by Dr. Ryan Jones.
 
Digital Photography: Intermediate
Taught by professional photographer Bill Hoepner, this is a hands-on class for those who want to expand their knowledge of lighting principles, learn strategies for taking excellent posed photos, explore Photoshop retouching and more.
 
Digital Photography: Lighting Techniques
A four week evening class for those who want to learn the fundamentals of lighting in all its various forms (natural; portrait; gym; special effects; location; gels and colored lighting). Taught by Bill Hoepner.
 
Digital Storytelling: Preserving Your Photos and Stories
Digital stories contain images, text, audio narration and music. Learn how to apply creative techniques to your own story, whether it's a family history album, a professional presentation or a special memory you want to preserve. Taught by Elizabeth Preston and Gene Leisz.
 
Drawing for the Absolute Beginner
A series of seven Thursday evening classes for those who have always wanted to explore their artistic side but didn't know where to start! Taught by Kim Yearman.

If you are a person with some basic drawing experience, you will definitely enjoy exploring the medium of colored pencils! A series of seven Tuesday evening classes taught by Kim Yearman.
 
Introduction to Painting with Watercolors
Are you a beginner who would like to learn the fundamental "secrets" of successful watercolor painting? Then this seven week Wednesday evening class is for you! Taught by Dominique Carlson.

The Science Behind Your Backyard Garden
Learn about plant identification, anatomy, propagation, pest and disease identification, the environmental needs of plants and more. Part of class time will be spent in the campus greenhouse. Taught by botanist Lynn Young-Janik.
 
To the Stars and Beyond: A Short Course in Astronomy
Take a fun, 5-week, evening course about stars, galaxies, quasars, black holes and more! Presentations will feature many of the spectacular images that modern astronomy provides. Your Astronomy adventure will end with a visit to the UW-Eau Claire planetarium. Taught by Professor Nathan Miller.
