Kim was amazing! She is patient, encouraging and insightful. My skill and confidence has definitely improved!” “Kim really inspired me to want to draw and to see that drawing is great fun.” “Kim was very supportive of us beginners. She made us feel comfortable and at ease—I enjoyed the class greatly!”
Have you always wished that you could explore your artistic side, but didn’t know where to start? If so, this beginning drawing class is for you.
Drawing often is referred to as the single most accessible form of all the arts—all you need (to begin) is a sheet of paper, a pencil, a desire to learn the basics of this exciting art form, and an enthusiastic instructor who is skilled at working with beginners. In this course, you’ll explore activities that develop hand/eye coordination; learn how to use specific methods to “see” your subject; and experiment with medium to create line, shape, texture and shaded form. Additionally, the instructor will make a
variety of handouts available for you to take home
for reference. Sketching between classes is encouraged, but certainly not required.
