WEN Regional Centers support technology-based start-ups and existing companies by providing confidential guidance and advice regarding:
- University scientific and technical expertise, facilities and equipment
- Technology transfer opportunities from the Wisconsin Alumni Research Foundation, WiSys, and federal laboratories
- Federal research and development opportunities (federal Small Business Innovation Research and Small Business Technology Transfer Programs)
- Capital investments (debt and equity)
- Referral to angel and early stage investors
- Patents and intellectual property
- Technology and market assessments
- Technology commercialization strategies
