CASE peer educators are available to deliver from a selection of interactive, informative, peer facilitated presentations. These presentations are suitable for delivery during class, for special groups or events, for student leadership training, or for student organizations interested in learning more about alcohol issues at UW Eau Claire. All presentations include provocative questions using audience response devices ("clickers"), interactive activities, and facts and myths about drinking at UWEC. The following are some of our most popular presentations:
CUSTOM PRESENTATION
SOCIAL NORMS
(30-50 minutes) This interactive "quiz" will compare students' perceptions of drinking on campus with accurate statistics. This presentation highlights our social norms theory and is one of our most popular presentations.
ALCOHOL AND ATHLETES (KINS Presentation)
(30-50 minutes) This program tests team members on perceptions vs. actual behavior, directly addresses effects of alcohol on performance, and requires participation in an activity.
ALCOHOL AND GENDER
(50 minutes) Alcohol physically affects men and women differently. Do men and women drink differently and for different reasons? This interactive presentation attempts to answer these questions.
CUSTOM PRESENTATION
CASE will develop a custom presentation for your class or group upon request. Please schedule these at least one week in advance of the date of the presentation.
